Horsham Collaborative Primary Care Network (PCN) Surgeries and Medical Practices Courtyard, Southwater Village, Cowfold and Rudgwick will be offering both the Covid Booster and Flu vaccination appointments to all eligible registered patients by invitation as per the Government guidelines from the 18th of September and throughout October on Sundays at our local Horsham Vaccination site situated at the Christs Hospital Bluecoats Sports Hall RH13 OYB, which has over 250 free parking spaces and is also 5 minute walk from Christ’s Hospital train station.

Should you require transport to the Christ Hospital venue please contact Sussex Community Transport 01403 754206, this service is available to and from your home address and has Wheelchair access.

Last year was a huge success with the Governments recommendation of dual administration with a record number of patients being protected.

When will I get my appointment?
Patients aged 65 and above and patients under 65 who are in a clinical at-risk group will be invited via SMS to book onto the surgery system with appointments available from the 18th September (over 65) and 25th September (clinical at-risk group under 65)
Patients aged 50-64 years old will be able to book after the 16th October (invitations will be sent by 3rd October)

How will I get my appointment?

To enable our patients to receive both the Flu and Covid vaccine, they will need to be Surgery booked appointments which are only available to our registered patients who will get this option via a SURGERY booking link.

Appointments booked via the NATIONAL BOOKING SERVICE will NOT BE ELIGIBLE for FLU vaccinations

(WHY IS THIS? - Our flu vaccines are delivered in small batches over the September and October period and we have matched our surgery booked appointments to enable both vaccines to be given)

What Vaccines?

Covid vaccine dose 1+2 and those aged under 18 years old = Pfizer vaccines

Covid boosters for over 18 years old = Moderna Spike Vac BIVALENT – (This is a new version of the booster offering protection to both the old Delta variant and the new Omicron version).

When should I have the vaccine?
There is no need to rush as we have enough vaccines and appointments for all our registered patients to get their protection before November!  So, please wait to be invited and book your appointment via the SURGERY link that will be sent to you.

Receiving the vaccines between mid-September and early November will offer you good protection for both the Flu and Covid peaks that happen over the winter months.

Appointments made via the national booking system will not have a flu vaccination reserved, so please only use your surgery invitation link to book appointments.

About the practice

The practice has been in existence since 1928 and joined the NHS on its inception in 1948.

Now in its third premises, it has never moved from the Springfield Road and London Road area of Horsham. The practice operates from a purpose built surgery, which opened in November 1989, and was the recipient of a prestigious architectural award.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction
