Ante-Natal and Post-Natal Clinics

All of our GPs carry out Post Natal checks in their routine surgeries.

Carers’ Support Services

The Carer’s Support Worker understands the difficulties experienced by carers at home, and will be able to help you find appropriate help and support when needed. 

If you wish to speak to them please let our receptionists know or phone the Carers’ Support Service in Crawley on 01293 657040.

Cervical Smears

Cervical smears are recommended at three yearly intervals from the age of 25 to 49 and five yearly from 50 to 64. Please inform the receptionist if you are making an appointment for a smear test, as a longer appointment is required.

Family Planning

Dr Brydie provides the following services; Coil Fitting and Removal, Contraceptive Implants and Removal. 

All forms of family planning can be discussed with your doctor or any of our practice nurses.

General Health Advice, Screening Tests and Examinations

We offer all patients advice on basic health matters, screening tests and examinations as follows: 
Well Man, Well Woman, Blood Pressure Screening, General Health Advice, Screening Tests, Weight and Diet Advice, Smoking and Alcohol Advice, Cholesterol and Heart Disease, Asthma and Diabetic Advice, and advice on the menopause and hormone replacement therapy. These appointments last from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on individual requirements.

Immunisation Clinics

Appointments will be sent to you as required. If you find difficulty in attending at the given times, then other arrangements can be made. We ask that all children be immunised at the surgery to ensure continuity of care and accurate record keeping. Furthermore any problems can be drawn to the attention of your doctor at the time.

Phlebotomy

If your doctor has asked you to have a blood test we now offer this service at the surgery. Please book with reception after your doctor has given you a blood test form. Alternatively this service is still available at Horsham Hospital.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges.
